Roman Romanenko made an amazing presentation and shared part of his immense experience in space with participants and guests of Space Challenges Program.

The Russian cosmonaut successfully participated in two missions to the International Space Station and has spent almost a year in total time in orbit. Roman Romanenko is a cosmonaut and a Deputy director at the Cosmonaut Training Center in Moscow. He was awarded the title Hero of Russia and the honorary title of “Pilot-cosmonaut of Russia.” In July 2008 he was appointed to the prime crew of the 20th expedition to the ISS as a commander of the ship “Soyuz TMA-15”. The mission lasted 187 days 20 hours 40 minutes 41 seconds.

At Sofia University Romanenko made ​​a presentation on the topic of “Human Spaceflight”. He explained to the students details on cosmonauts trainings and life in space. Romanenko shared with the guests some of his most interesting personal stories aboard the space station.
